[Biography: He was born in 1810in Smyrni. He had five others iblings, of which it was also important, George, painter and lithographer.He studied painting at the Academy of Rome under government fellowship.He returned to Greece and was appointed professor at the'School of the Arts.'He taught for twenty five years.He worked as a photographer (then called ntangerotypia) since the invention was presented, making his first photographs in 1847.He opened the first photography gallery at Nomismatokopeio Square in Athens,1853. His photos were illustrating archaeological landmarks  and important people in his time.He died in 1892 in Wuerzburg, Germany.]
